It is believed that the origin of the surname Casas  were two French knights of Bartolome and Guillen de las Casas and brothers who came to serve St. Ferdinand from Limoges, and this helped in the siege and capture of Seville, for which I provided land and the inherited in this city.

Given the proximity between Catalonia and France since ancient times in this region lie surnamed families houses.
